Welcome

My interest in paper crafting began in August 2008, not really that long ago. My husband and I enjoy camping and every year we go to a wonderful place in central New Hampshire on Lake Ossippee. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t very cooperative this past year and it rained for 5 of the 7 days we were camping. My sister was with us this year and she brought along some scrapbook supplies. She loves to take pictures and had received a couple of scrapbook kits the previous year for Christmas. Well, she asked for my help and the rest, as they say, is history!

While I’m not yet much of a scrapbooker I did develop a fascination with making my own cards. We even went so far as to purchase a die-cut machine called a Klick-N-Kut Element. While I would like to think I’m fairly computer literate my husband is really the whiz in this area. He designs and cuts anything I need! He really is wonderful!

We were off on vacation the week between Christmas and New Year’s and we were fortunate to come across a wonderful scrapbook store in Manchester, NH. We took a Winter Card/Thank You class taught by the fabulous Jen D. You can see more of her creations here. She is an instructor for A Muse, a company which I am falling in love with! They have some of the most wonderful stamps.

Here is a sample of the cards we made that night. I have already used two of them! Yeah!

Well I think that’s enough for my first post! LOL I’m actually not that talkative but I figured I should give a bit of history on how I became enchanted with card making.

I don’t think it’s realistic of me to think I will post every day, so I’m aiming for once a week. We’ll see how it goes.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’ll visit again soon.

Try to make time each day to be creative!
